NightShift Radiology Announces Courtney Carter, M.D. as Newest Partner Physician
NightShift Radiology, a national teleradiology practice committed to supporting community-based radiologists, today announced Courtney Carter, M.D. as the newest physician to join its growing team. Dr. Carter is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
"To solidify our position as a trusted partner to community-based radiology groups, we constantly seek the best and brightest in the field to empower our clients to be as successful as possible," said Dr. Michael Myers, co-founder of NightShift Radiology. "Dr. Carter's background will be an invaluable asset to the team as we continue to grow and deliver exceptional service. We are looking forward to her joining the Nightshift family."
Dr. Carter served her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of California, David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles. She completed an internship with the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn. Dr. Carter earned her M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed her fellowship in cross-sectional imaging with an emphasis on body imaging at The University of California in San Francisco.
NightShift Radiology is dedicated to providing quality primary interpretations as opposed to final reads, to reinforce its position as a trusted partner, and never a replacement, to community-based radiologists. The company's highly-experienced physicians are located across the United States. Most of the physicians have received fellowship or Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) training.
"It is exciting to join such a pioneering and innovative practice such as NightShift Radiology that operates with radiologist's interests in mind, rather than those of investors," said Dr. Carter. "I look forward to contributing to the company's continued growth as we help make a difference for our clients' business"
NightShift radiologists are employed full-time by the practice and are U.S.-based. The company has been in business for more than a decade and has provided 3 million+ reads throughout its history.
